Special Classes Schedule

·      Mondays—PE & Music

·      Tuesdays—Art

·      Thursday—Science (2^nd & 4^th Weeks)

·      Friday—Library & PE

 

 

Please have your child read out loud to someone for at least 20 minutes, 5 nights a week!  It makes a big difference in their reading and fluency skills! 

 

 

News

Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me!  I am enjoying each one and we are getting into the “groove” of school and learning the 2^nd Grade curriculum. 

Learning Targets for October:

·      Language Arts:  Common and proper nouns, antonyms, synonyms, and verbs.

 

·      Reading: “Kids Excel” reader.  We will learn about kids who excel at different things.

 

·      Math:  Chapter 2—Building Fluency with addition and subtraction.

 

·      Science & Social Studies:  Finish up Early Asian Civilizations.
