Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me!  I am enjoying each one and we are getting into the “groove” of school and learning the 2nd Grade curriculum. 

Learning Targets for October:

·      Language Arts:  Common and proper nouns, antonyms, synonyms, and verbs.

 

·      Reading: “Kids Excel” reader.  We will learn about kids who excel at different things.

 

·      Math:  Chapter 2—Building Fluency with addition and subtraction.

 

·      Science & Social Studies:  Finish up Early Asian Civilizations.

·      Spelling: suffix endings, “r” controlled vowels
